About Dr. Ryan Welter MD PhD

Dr. Welter is the CEO and founder of Regeneris Medspa & Cosmetic Surgery and the New England Center for Hair Restoration. He obtained his doctorate in biochemistry and molecular biology from Oklahoma State University and his M.D. from the University of Oklahoma. He completed his residency in Family Medicine at Brown University Medical School, where he previously served as a clinical associate professor. In 2005, Dr. Welter began to have clinical interest in hair loss and pulling from his background in biochemistry, began to explore the use of cellular technologies such as platelet rich plasma to treat male and female hair loss. In 2011 he performed the first ever adipose derived stem cell therapy for hair loss. He continues to explore regenerative technologies for hair loss and other conditions and remains extensively interested in the use of cell based technologies to promote longevity.
